Description
Specifications
EISEDICHT HOTSchott Tyvek® heat-resistant bellows pipe grommets are designed for airtight sealing of high-temperature pipe penetrations through airtight and windtight building layers, especially where pipes pass through sloped roof constructions.
The HOTSchott system is intended for applications such as flue and exhaust pipe penetrations, where increased temperature resistance is required. The sealing sleeves have been TÜV Süd tested and are specified for temperatures up to 250 °C, allowing sealing directly around heat-conducting pipes.
The FRGD versions feature flexible, height-adjustable bellows sleeves that allow reliable sealing of rising pipes passing through roof slopes up to 45°. The permanently flexible construction accommodates movement around the pipe, while integrated strain relief reduces mechanical loading on the sealed penetration.
Each version uses a self-adhesive and tear-resistant Tyvek® adhesive collar with an extremely strong polyacrylate adhesive. The adhesive collar has a specified temperature resistance from -30 °C to +100 °C.
The products are suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, are UV-resistant and halogen-free, and can be installed from +5 °C. They comply with DIN 4108-7 and DIN 18015-5 and are TÜV tested. The HOTSchott system is also specified for airtightness according to GEG 2020 and for flue gas systems according to DIN 14241-1 and DIN 13216-1.

Applications & Usage
The EISEDICHT HOTSchott FRGD bellows grommets are intended for sealing high-temperature pipe penetrations through airtight or windtight layers, including vapour barriers and vapour control membranes.
The adjustable bellows design makes the system particularly suitable for rising pipes through roof slopes up to 45°. Typical applications include flue pipes, exhaust pipes and other heat-conducting technical pipework.
An opening corresponding to the pipe diameter should be created in the airtight or windtight membrane. The correctly sized grommet is then bonded according to the manufacturer's installation instructions.
