EISEDICHT D1 Tyvek Cable Grommet – 4–8 / 8–12 / 12–15 mm

EISEDICHT D1 Tyvek® Cable Grommet is a one-piece airtight cable sealing grommet designed for fast and airtight sealing of cable penetrations in airtight and windtight building layers. Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, it provides a permanently flexible seal around cables and complies with DIN 4108-7 and DIN 18015-5.

The grommet features a highly flexible 20 mm EPDM anti-kink sleeve, which maintains flexible contact around the cable and incorporates strain relief. A generous 150 × 150 mm Tyvek® adhesive collar provides a durable connection to the airtight layer. The self-adhesive collar is tear-resistant and uses an extremely strong polyacrylate adhesive.

The D1 Tyvek® cable grommet has a temperature resistance from -30 °C to +100 °C and can be installed at temperatures from +5 °C. It is halogen-free and UV-resistant.

The product is GTÜ tested and carries the Passive House seal. Manufacturer: Eisedicht.

The EISEDICHT D1 Tyvek® sealing grommet is intended for airtight sealing of cable and service penetrations through airtight and windtight building layers. The flexible EPDM sleeve seals around the cable while providing anti-kink protection and integrated strain relief.

The large self-adhesive Tyvek® collar provides a secure connection to the surrounding airtight layer. With variants for 4–8 mm, 8–12 mm and 12–15 mm diameters, the grommet can be selected according to the diameter of the penetration being sealed.
