EISEDICHT Flachdach Alu-Butyl Pipe Sealing Grommet – RGD100 / RGD150

EISEDICHT Flachdach Alu-Butyl pipe sealing grommets are one-piece airtight flat-roof pipe grommets designed for fast and airtight sealing of pipe penetrations through airtight or windtight flat-roof layers below the insulation layer.

The range includes RGD100 for 100-110 mm pipes and RGD150 for 150-165 mm pipes. Both versions feature a highly flexible 60 mm inward-projecting EPDM sleeve, providing a permanently flexible seal around the pipe. Integrated strain relief helps reduce mechanical load at the penetration.

The self-adhesive, tear-resistant Alu-Butyl adhesive collar creates a durable connection to the airtight or windtight layer. An extremely strong butyl adhesive is used. Depending on the substrate, pretreatment with BUBI LF adhesion primer may be required.

The grommets have a specified temperature resistance from -30 °C to +100 °C, are UV-resistant and halogen-free, and can be installed from +5 °C. They comply with DIN 4108-7 and EnEV 2014, have tested water tightness of 0.02 bar, and are GTÜ tested.

Available variants:

• RGD100 – diameter 100-110 mm – article FD0004 – adhesive collar 320 × 320 mm – 4 pcs.

• RGD150 – diameter 150-165 mm – article FD0007 – adhesive collar 350 × 350 mm – 4 pcs.

Applications & Usage

The EISEDICHT Flachdach Alu-Butyl grommets are intended for airtight sealing of pipe penetrations through flat-roof airtight or windtight layers located below the insulation layer.

The inward-projecting 60 mm EPDM sleeve seals flexibly around the pipe, while the Alu-Butyl collar bonds to the surrounding layer. The appropriate grommet should be selected according to the pipe diameter.

Depending on substrate condition, BUBI LF primer may be required before bonding. Installation should be carried out according to the manufacturer's instructions.
